Recent discussions today about the qualities of certain incarnations/portrayals of the Doctor made me decide to hold an informal poll to see what others on LJ thought.

Here's a quiz for viewers of the new Doctor Who. Season 1 brought back the Daleks. Season 2 saw the Cybermen return, origins nicely redefined. And even though I've only seen the first two episodes of Season 3, I knew the Master came back.*

Donna Noble is about as annoying as Dodo when it comes to Doctor Who companions.

Just saw this on TV Guide online. Apparently, Kylie Minogue is to appear in Christmas episode. Since I missed the first few episodes of Season Three on CBC, I'm planting myself in front of the television Friday to make sure I don't miss the start on SciFi.

Missed the premiere of Doctor Who on CBC this past Monday. Had lost track of what they were starting it up, focusing on the SciFi Channel and the run starting in July. So, now I've missed both the Christmas ep and Smith and Jones. :-(

The official Doctor Who website hosted by the BBC is running a promotion for the upcoming Christmas episode, "The Runaway Bride."
